In Paddock Wood, Kent outside doing a tree survey and got this lot of snow heading for me, already a few flakes before the main lot

Just down the road from me, and can confirm the NE sky is darkening nicely. Snowing heavily in Kings Hill apparently.

Last snow shower was a good SM8. Let's see how long it takes to melt? :D

these showers seem to be coming down the north sea across east anglia and then veering of into the channel with another pulse coming down the spine of the country. both sets are missing east kent, perhaps its the offshore wind turbines blowing away the clouds:rofl:

No snow to report here in Southend.

Great to see some of you have had some showers though. A nice bonus this early on in the season.

I suspect there may be a few nice surprises for this region overnight, with the latest UK4 showing showers working their way southwards through the wash - bearing in mind it missed the earlier band of showers which worked their way down the M11 and into London and beyond, it could be that as usual in these situations the models are underplaying the shower potential

Hello all in the SE thread - good to be back. Snowmageddon (sort of) here in Tunbridge Wells and settling ever so slightly on the grass. I'm really not sure why some in the Model thread are wringing their hands in despair - we have actual, proper snow, in some areas quite a lot of it, and it's still technically Autumn.....
