We had some good rain overnight been increadibly dry, strange for this time of year the polar opposite to September which was very wet here interesting how things balance out.

Temp down to 3.4C overnight. A chilly day ahead with quite a windchill in a stiff wind. I'll be joining @Dami and wearing a woolly hat this afternoon!

Same here, JJ...Can't work out whether the icy bits are hail or half-melted graupel?:cc_confused:

Oh dear, that was it! As soon as the DP rose, the sleet soon reverted to rain. Can still (just about) see the snow in the sky, though...DB now up to 6C...

Hi all, what a lovely Sunday we have at Oulton near Lowestoft. we currently have heavy icy rain mixed with sleet and hail, had our first dusting of hail on the lawn about an hour ago.

currently my weather station is showing 4.1, if it drops any lower might see some wet flakes of snow.

Winter has come early this year, bring it on

Shame it was not a month or two later a nice stream of ‘constant’ showers tracking NW to SE affecting counties adjacent to the North Sea - sure there would be nice snowfall across parts of Norfolk/Suffolk. Perhaps come nightfall this precip might turn more wintry but typically that’s when the precip cuts off. :fool:
