Current average minimum here this month has been 2.9c with three air frosts recorded. Certainly a colder month minimum wise compared to many November's here since the turn of the millennium.

It’s amazing how my average minimum (6.4) is higher than your month mean, with only 40% of nights falling below it. The power of the on-shore wind.

Maybe a few miles would make a difference. If the prevailing winds this month had been Easterly then it would be a completely different story.

Latest GFS is now backing away from those record breaking mild temps at the end of the week and replacing them will cooler values. Consequently, the CET now looks like finishing in the mid to high 7s before corrections. Given how much the models have flipped over the last week, I'd guess a CET in the range of 7.1 and 8.5C before corrections, and 6.8C to 8.6C after corrections.

Sunny Sheffield at 7.1C -1.1C below normal. Big rises for today and the next two days. Question mark over Thursday then looking below average until the end of the month although this can change. So by Thursday we should be back up to around 8C. Probably finish around 7C which will be just above normal.

Just looked at 12 oz GFS and this has the very mild conditions continuing until Saturday when it will turn colder across the UK. Some very high values shown still with temperatures around the mid teens in the CET zone right up to the end of the week. I've just dropped some figures in and it looks like we won't quite reach 8C with the projected temperatures. However it's going to very hard to get a significantly cold month which did look possibl earlier on this month when allowing for the normal cooling across the month.

9.0°C here, 0.7°C above the 1981–2010 average. Can’t see me  finishing below-average now.

GFS has the colder air arriving quicker than before and now looking very cold over the weekend by day although not far from normal by night. Mainly due to the strength of the wind.

Mins look around 1-4's this weekend, colder Thurs and Fri below freezing for some, but wind will temper them dropping too much. Maxes 5-7 degree range, probably return a mean around 4 degrees - but this for the north, CET zone will be milder, so only a slight drop can be expected, next week looks average at best, so a finish a bit above the 61-90 average most likely, but probably not that far above the 81-00 average, which feels about right, as apart from the last 2 days and tomorrow, and the opening couple of days, its never been especially mild, indeed at times quite cold with some cold nights.

6.4c here to the 21st, 0.7c below the 1981-2010 average.

One more rise tomorrow before we see below average temps as we head into the weekend.

Looking at GFS, latest run would suggest finishing between 5.5 and 6c, so between 0.5 and 1c below average.

Latest GFS is cool enough that reaching the 81-10 average may just be possible after corrections. Still time for things to change, but for now I'd estimate a finish of between 7.0 and 8.0C before corrections, and 6.7C to 8.1C after corrections.

9.2°C here, 1.0°C above the 1981–2010 Average. Nothing is stopping this steady rise. Today has a max so far of 14.8°C and a day mean of 13.0°C.

Cloudy Edmonton is at -11.8c to the 21st...still no days above 0c this month but expect that to change as warm air floods across the prairies from the pacific later today and on into next week.
