Clear spells early yesterday evening but showers arrived well before midnight and continued for the rest of the night, albeit with some lengthy dry spells between them.

A fairly windy day with frequent showers, some briefly heavy. The showers died out from mid afternoon and the end of the day has been dry and  breezy with sunny periods.
