New to these forums (although have been stalking them for a few years haha) :)

Dropped to -0.5–C here last night before bed; cars were frozen over, but thawed early hours and temp was 2ºC at 7am...

We had a decent front last Monday; temps dropped to -4ºC!

Hit -5.4 here early this morning for the 4th air frost of Autumn. Coldest November temp recorded here was -10.9 on 28th 2010 and that was with 20 inches of snow on the ground!

Many places saw there first air frost last night- especially  central and eastern areas. Here we had an early air frost, but cloud cover moved in, and the morning dawned damp and cold. This morning was one of those classic drab dreich raw cold November mornings.

This weekend coming looks a carbon copy of the one just gone, so a few places who still have seen a frost may have done by this time next week.

Had I think 4 mornings (including this morning) when I would have had to scrape my car but opted for a heated screen in the last 3 cars...that and heated seats is the way ahead!

Coldest night of the autumn so far last night, rather unexpected as I didn’t realise the Wind would veer off-shore as it did. The minimum was 1.4°C. Grass minimum was -1.1°C, so second ground frost of the autumn as well.

I did have a frost a few days ago - temps got down to exactly 0.0° However, no sub-zero temps yet, compared to 3 in the first 8 days of November, last year. No single-figure maximum temperatures yet either.

I hate it when that happens, it’s like it’s teasing you. Happened to me about 5 times last winter; your heart wants to call it an air frost but your stat head says you can’t.

No air frosts here yet but I did have the first ground frost a few days ago with a low of 0.9°C. By the looks of it there might be another chance at the weekend.

First proper ground frost this morning, also my first airfrost of the season. A slight one ,-0.3c but my earliest airfrost since 2010. Only my 4th time getting an airfrost before mid Nov during the last 10 yrs. Those other yrs being 2008,2009 and 2010. Perhaps a good sign :).

Another air frost this morning - Cumbria in prime coldest spot territory. Looking ahead further air frost most likely Sunday night/Monday morning, probable ground frost Sat night/Sun morning. All good for cooling ground temps.

3rd frost of the season this morning here too. Possibly fourth, because one morning fell to 1.9C but I don't recall if there was a ground frost or not (I wasn't awake early enough).

Even worse when both the Davis and Netatmo  hit 0.0 at exactly the same time. :D

I thought it might have made it below zero before midnight here, but it bottomed out at 0.8. The trusty recycling bins & shed roof are white with frost though.

First air frost of the month already down to -0.6c not much frost about though roads were good.

So that makes it the earliest air frost since way back to 2008.
