Here is the latest snow and ice chart.  I hope to see a big increase of the snow cover.

Let's hope so. Should at least have a covering of snow on the eastern side of the country soon. Keep an eye out for Baltic ice increases,

Thanks Coram, I hope there will be more increases of sea ice in the Bering Straits.

Sea Ice reported at Bembridge Harbour on the east coast of the Isle of Wight! I wonder if it will show up on the sea ice map.

not likely I know,  but it just goes to show how cold it is currently, and we are almost into spring!

It seems that the sea ice is spreading into areas that usually does not get sea ice. 

Here is the latest snow and ice chart with big increases of the snow for the U.K. and Ireland.

Interesting that there is a lot more white in the UK than there is in Western Poland and Germany!

Ice cover will reach its peak in next couple of weeks, maybe even this week due to temperatures being way above normal in certain parts of the arctic.

There have been slight increases in the sea ice in  the Baring  Straits which has gone back to the  same level it was over 9 days ago.

Must be pretty close to peak now. Disappointed that the Baltic Sea hasn't got greater coverage.
