Sea Ice reported at Bembridge Harbour on the east coast of the Isle of Wight! I wonder if it will show up on the sea ice map.

not likely I know,  but it just goes to show how cold it is currently, and we are almost into spring!

It seems that the sea ice is spreading into areas that usually does not get sea ice.

That's the North Sea effect I suppose .

Ice cover will reach its peak in next couple of weeks, maybe even this week due to temperatures being way above normal in certain parts of the arctic.

There have been slight increases in the sea ice in  the Baring  Straits which has gone back to the  same level it was over 9 days ago.
