Touch and go whether we end up below or above the 61-90 average or bang on. Expect a climb over the next 3 days, but with likely downward corrections, I would say a 50% chance below, 50% chance above, and a 70% chance bang on average.

I will go first and punt for something reasonably close to the average of the last 15 years. I think we will likely continue on an unsettled note but with a lack of any low minimums.

13.9c for me please.

Come to papa ;)

13.5 is the final figure for September

All I see on the Hadley CET website is figures horizontally across all the pages and cannot make out what column they should belong to.  How do you know 13.5 is the official September CET? I have not been able to make that out or read it properly in the mess the pages are in, even it has already been published.

The Hadley website states 13.8c provisionally to the 29th... as N-E- Blast asked, how did you come to that figure of 13.5c.

Well it's ranked as 13.5, the finalised figure is 13.53 and it's in the 1659 to 2017 list as 13.5

Do you have a direct link, I'm looking for that 1659 to 2017 list you mentioned ?

So despite the CET for September 2017 being quite close to average, it was actually one of the cooler Septembers in recent years; it was the same as the CET for September 2008, and in the last 23 years, only the Septembers of 2012 and 2015 were substantially cooler.

Nice to see that September 2017 at least bucked the trend of the last 20 years a bit, even if it wasn't that much cooler than average.

Yes, I'm pleased with the September CET and it certainly didn't feel like an extension of summer this year, despite the warmer final few days of the month.
