Moderate rain turned light for a time after midnight hours before becoming moderate and continuous again around 03:00 GMT. Further moderate rain this morning, turning lighter towards observation. Further intermittent light spots of rain through the morning. The afternoon saw a clearance from the north allowing good sunny spells from mid afternoon, turning breezy.
