I see the cell just south of Manchester is giving sferics! Pity it couldn't be a few miles north.

There plenty going on here in Somerset too. No lightning as yet but the thunde is building very nice,y thank you beautiful clouds and the sun poking through to stoke up the temps . Cracking stuff ....

The line of showers going through Dartmoor and South Devon is going to hit here shortly, few rumbles mixed in so I may be lucky!

Strikes further west of here though.

The main band is mainly to my south and east, but, the clouds out the front of my property are huge towering affairs . So hopefully it will build and continue, brief lull but low ominous growls in the background

Just had a small storm pass to my NE, no lightning observed but around 4 deep rumbles heard.

Looks like another storm passing over York currently, so fingers crossed that heads this way.

Four or five rumbles and one feint c-c flash near Malton, interesting looking sky here, not much rain but I think it's a glancing blow here

First pic looking south, where I heard a rumble of Thunder from the cell over Birmingham also with mammatus formations, and the second pic looking north, crystal clear blue sky with a bit of the anvil at the top of the pic.

Loud boom heard here in the Peaks now  been watching the anvils developing since this morning.

Tremendously bright lightning and gunshot then booming thunder twice in a few minutes as well as plenty more lightning/ thunder in other directions.

Storm is moving very quickly too. I love night storms for the lightning but day storms allow viewing of fantastic structure.
