It's really kicking off again further west this time.

Also something building in the channel that will move towards Kent as a guess.

April storms don’t like the M4 much

Yeah, the stuff over London has died off. Was firing out lightning due WSW but it's just became windy and a bit of rain.   Much cooler that's for sure.

Now looking like only rain here tonight now. Shame, but not the end of the world.

There were certainly some corkers out there tonight, and I’m happy for those of you who got the chance to enjoy them.

Looks like some more activity is heading your way as we speak?

Plenty of lightning to my NE and SE. But alas, I managed to find the gap for the second time. lol

Who happened to be in the blue bit moi? Bah a flash and bang a good 10 seconds after must have been some distance away some drizzle it’s fantastic, first of year at least waited over 6 months for that.

Had some nice lightning around Watford, one was pretty close. Best April storm I have ever witnessed here, reminiscent of Summer storms. Not quite as violent as the summer storms but better then I could have ever imagined.

I think the last time I heard thunder in April was about 20yrs ago haha. Doubt if I'll hear it this year either! South coast looked good fun this evening though :) Roll on July...August...whenever....

In Oxford. Got to see the storm over Gloucester from quite a distance. Saw quite a few flashes as it moved from my west to north of here. Quite disappointing as, I was surrounded at one point, but everything just fizzled out.
