The showers in wales are being frustrating! Hope they develop as they move. I can see the top of the storm out in the Irish Sea currently.

Think for those of us up north, this is going to be one of those infamous busts.

May have to look out the front room now at this rate. Not seen anything from the Portsmouth cell in a while. Band of stikes over the New Forest now looks more promising.

Glorious sight to behold, looking on lightning maps and seeing tonnes of it heading gradually over the country hopefully!

Make the best of it folks.

Could this be a similar clump of thunderstorms that passed through central areas on the evening of 18th July last year?.. hmm wait and see.:)

Fingers crossed here in the NW corner of London hoping for some lightning... not long in our new house with a conservatory and one of my first thoughts about that was STORM WATCHING! :yahoo:

Looks as though those two areas of thundery rain over Southern/South-Western England are slowly starting to join forces with each other:

Evening @Darren Bown :)

That was probably the one that I heard thunder from about an hour ago... I think that one has sadly lost its electrical edge. :cray:

But things are very still here at the moment... There’s still hope. :good:
