Do you think much will come off from this cell near Nottingham if it continues moving this direction?

Doesn't look too promising other than brief spell of rain

Just lit up outside (I'm sitting it bed). Blitzortung suggests it was well NW of London - blimey!!!

And again, this time Blitzortung pinging down near Brighton. It is literally lighting up the road from so far away. Pretty incredible really.

Yep, very deep, quiet rumbles, and a very bright flash; this must be very elevated!

Yess! Night time thunder and lightning! Got a bright flash on film and almost overhead. Camera currently sitting filming through the window to see if I get any more. Torrential rain, lots of flooding all over the place (thankfully not here). Saw one flash outside followed by a flash through the socket. Almost everything is unplugged anyway, I'm paranoid about electrics getting destroyed by power surges. (Northern Ireland)

Northern Ireland should have had an amber warning, a lot of severe flooding in parts there. Eglinton looks dreadful.

Must be some sporadic lightning around here as I have seen a few faint flashes.

Just had a fairly heavy shower come through as well.

Forecast must be a bit off as it was suppose to be dry till dawn here, unless its because its from unstable mid level clouds which are always hard to forecast!

I thought I saw some flashes now I have gone to bed with the lights out.  I didn't even realise they were rumbling around till now

Think my best chance is near 4am where heavier rain is forecast, only thing is lightning is being picked up around Canterbury where there's only light rain down there so idk

On holiday up in Scotland near the Mull of Galloway seen well over a hundred flashes over the last hour and a few lightning bolts looks quite elevated here not a lot of thunder or lightning strikes.

Raining again here, but nothing else. Not expecting anything electrical now, although it was never originally forecast so I'm not too upset
