That wind, hail and rain was so loud just now I could barely hear the thunder

I do love a brilliant unexpected storm!

There's some incredibly black and scary clouds to My north and west right now. Wind is starting to pick up really strongly, plants blowing all over the place and the sound of the thunder in the distance looms closer. Waiting for it to go off. It's honestly quite scary looking (I used to be deathly afraid of storms as a kid and a part of my brain still goes into panic mode lmao)

I thought the potential would have moved off to the east by now. It hasn't just moved to the east it's spread to the east instead as there is still lots developing around here!

The sky looks wonderful and there are very dark skies to my north. An interesting afternoon ahead.

I feel it was reasonably well-forecast?

Certainly quite a few storms around, hope one can make it up Norwich way... :hi:

Just had a short storm here with a few rumbles of thunder, but it did produce a lot of rain.

Blast. Just heard that back home we had quite a powerful storm in the past hour. Typical, while I'm in Dorset! :cray:

Not that I was there, but this shows just how strong the Gentleshaw storm shield is. The storm died out just before getting here, and then reinvigorated as it left. Leaving me with moderate rain.

To be honest,  I hadn't seen the forecast for today hence it was unexpected

Even better than the little thunderstorm we had earlier. Seem to be some hail mixed in with the rain too. I so wish thunderstorms happened more often! :)
