Kind of typical....2nd storm this year both in Halesowen and both without my cameras

Not complaining thought

and looking at the radar a big release of Brummies from the NSC

Wow a close bolt of lightning with almost instantaneous thunder!  Shame it just looks grey above and uninteresting haha...

Just saw a very distant bolt of fork lightning from storm to the North, got me very excited actually!

Ye there have been several strikes now - went over Yate area and heading E/SE now. More developing to our West.

This is rumbling away nicely - not seen any CGs yet though just he odd flicker. About half a dozen rumbles now and a couple of loud peels

A decent storm running through SE London just now.

Regular lightning,quite a bit of sheet lighting a few cc forks and a couple of cg strikes seen from this suburban window.

Biblical convective rainfall has the streets awash.

A pleasant surprise in intensity given the lack of 'fanfare' around today's potential.

A 'proper' storm= a happy boy!
