14.1C. It's hopeful given the way this year has hitherto gone.

16.4C for me.

Although it looks like July will finish a little above average i am hopeful that August will be the month to break the mold. Not least when one considers that normally the second half of the month is noticeably worse than the first.

I'm thinking this will be a pretty ordinary first week or so followed by a quite exceptional two and a half weeks  as the heat out in Europe corrects westward significantly, and ending in a week that turns out to be by far the coldest period of the month.

The thought of that week at the end has me downgrading my guess to ** 17.9C ** for this month, though I wouldnt be surprised to see it to peak at 18.5C or above during the second half before it falls back

I'm predicting a poor august, following on from what was a good early to mid summer for 2017, and probably the best summer weather since 2014 in the southeast region.

My hunch not based on any particular logic, just feeling is August will return our first below average month in a long time, and the outlook at least for the opening days suggests a rather below average start.. so I might be onto something.. will give thoughts on Monday next week.

My feelings tell me it'll be the same as July, so my guess won't change either....17c please
