Bah humbung another cell passes close by to the north west. The story of the last few years mostly. Close but no cigar. Got a feeling the east will get some more later on this evening when this front pushes through.

I can see a nice little gap in the front that has Sheffield's name on it.

Sky keeps going very dark, a few spots of rain, then brightens a bit again. Losing all hope here of any firecrackers tonight:angry:

Rain has started in North Bristol. Skies are very dark. Lets see what we get! Nice heavy convective raindrops too

Likely be a small rain shower mate.

It appears that the only storm on these isles is near Rochdale ....

All the good stuff is in France and Germany

Also water is wet

A few here in Glossop might be happy soon if the cell heading to Knutsford intensifies and stays on track, it might brush just to the north of me but if it becomes electrical i'll hear the rumbles here.

It is looking nice to my southwest! Please tell me the cell will give me some thunder. Ok, I will settle with some rain to save me from watering the plants again.

Yes mate,  Baiter car park looking out towards the ferry as the storm was sat out in the channel and moving towards Bournemouth, was a tad scary at times lol

I'm almost consigned to believing with conviction that no thunder will occur here this time yet again. It's just been muggy and cloudy all day with just a short lived drizzle shower. It seems that thunder doesn't like the West Midlands anymore, so avoids traveling this way completely. What did we do to offend it:sorry:. There must be some way us Midlanders can make it up with it :friends:.
