Backbuilding? Seems to be dying at the front edge though!

The front edge seems to be losing momentum, you might be right.

Just turned electrical too!

Which cell we talking???? Arrrrgh!!

Clearer slot overhead now but skies looking suspect to the south (could just be crud - nothing of note on radar or Blitzortung)

Actually going to keep an eye out very soon for distant flashes! This thing is intensifying as its moving NNE. Note, some real rapid potent developments once more over the Channel Islands/Cherbourg and a corker over Lyme bay heading up towards Dorset!

This is more like it folks!!

I wouldnt worry too much.

A) Plenty building to the south.
B) They wont head NE for long.

That stuff South of exeter will explode when it reaches land. I suspect the south will be very busy soon.

I hope so, I just missed out on the storm passing through bournemouth/southampton :( looked good for a while but swerved away to the east of me - heard the thunder but just got the edge and lots of rain.
Still surprisingly warm here and good signs of further development in the channel!

Just heard a rumbling sound, but I think it's an Airbus A320 stacking for Heathrow

I see the stuff in the channel, yeah there not the clouds I am seeing then and that lot isn't going to be here for a while so may die out or miss us by the time it gets inland.:nea:

More thunder here deep rumbles, keep an eye on things east of the main cluster

Cheers mate will do. As I mentioned earlier skies looking menacing to the SW but unable to establish if it's something developing or crud.

Well it's gone rather dark out, but I'm more than skeptical that the flashy stuff will get here.
