It defo seems to be moving inland, I can see flashes again to the South East which matches up with Guildford sort of way, seems like it's reached Southampton too.

Approaching trough kicking it off even more it has made 'landfall' along S coast getting rather excited looking at the radar imagery.

maybe it can manage to limp a bit nearer to Wymondham and produce a flash every 10 to 20 mins, I have a doozy of a parking spot with a 360 degree view!

The lightning is spectacular!!!! Constant flashing for a good hour..........a storm to remember!

You wouldn't get much if you were here at the moment. Almost constant lightning and really heavy rain.

Yup scrap that! There's the thunder!! Is there a live app for android I can view the lightning strikes on? Blitz do one?

What is that like? :/

I can just sense a constant but very very quiet growl, started raining here, hopefully I won't have to experience what it is like to be in a house struck by lightning directly again, had it twice already

Nice, but I think it will arrive at the Norfolk/Suffolk border and pass out :D

I have clear skies right now but I am seeing a lot of lightning to my south, I hope it makes it up here.

I know on ios you can add lightningmaps to your home screen and it opens like an app. Don't know if it works like that on android.

Attempted to record some of the lightning on the clifftop earlier. Didn't get that much but found this. I'll have to trawl through the other videos and see if I managed to get anything else.

Just noticed the clear sky myself, first time in a few hours! Cant see any distant lightning yet however.

Starting to die down in Hove. What. A. Show. If you're anywhere North East of here, hold on to your hats.....

Oh and severe flooding is an absolute gimme, haven't seen anything like this in years!

that first storm is teasing me, so below leics it sharply moved east, and now its moving north again as if it deliberately wanted to avoid me.

Atmosphere over London is just destabilising. The Thunder I've just heard is insane in the distance. Sounded like a nuke
