It tried to kick something of more this way, however that died of. Think I'm too far east for this one.

This was just all I could record when it happened, as it caught me by surprise

Just watching the Brittany ferries leave portsmouth, thinking, you lucky buggers, imagine the view out there...

Not sure that the Monarch passengers on a flight I was watching out of my front window coming into Luton enjoyed the view that much tonight!!

Well that was an awesome evening, some really nice CC lightning, no CGs but it was so relaxing watching the lightning flicker between the clouds. Finally got me a storm! woo hoo. Also all of the storms that have happened in my area over the past few years apart from a few have been at night? Why?

Quite a few strikes well ahead of the precip in the channel.

It seems to be turning in to a bit of a mess now, and dying out somewhat, as its making landfall. I'm surprised.

Is it me or is the eastern most cell in the Channel on course to be the almighty, dreaded Kent Clipper?

Is it me or is that stuff over the Channel literally organising itself?  I remember the Channel was the make or break, what's the sea temperature this year vs previous years?

It's orientation makes you think that but if you run the loop it's all moving pretty much  due N, maybe a fraction NNE

Its move North was looking so promising, would have liked to at least just have some heat lightning

The Channel does look uncannily like the other week, when it was manic over the sea, but never quite fully made it ashore.

It doesn't look like anything wants to make a break for it inland, got three separate thunderstorm warnings for tomorrow, could be an interesting day.
