Anyone got any live webcam links of the action? I tried the shard but it doesn't appear to be a live realtime view.

I'm seeing the most beautiful lightning I have ever seen! Wow, it's so vivid and dancing around the clouds incredible!

Nothing here on Southend seafront at the moment. Looks like a dead rubber for tonight.

That MSC north of London looks incredible!

But I just cannot believe my area has missed out once again! However, a line of storms to the south of the country looks to be heading northwards which could be something to keep an eye on in the next few hours.

That's what I hope will come and give our West Midlands Storm Shield a good ol' thump!

Can see the Lightning from here now to my W/NW - vivid blue flickers (occasional bright ones).

I have lightning to my SW, S and SE - practically everywhere within the Southern compass points. :D

I'll admit, I've been lurking all day waiting for my chance to pounce on anything thundery. It's not looking great. Anyone care to underline for me that I am indeed too far east and that I can now go and lie in a boiling hot room and pretend to sleep for the next 8 hours? I'm not secretly jealous of absolutely everything that's kicked off to the west of me since about 11am. Oh no sir.

This thing is a beast! Surprised how little lighting it's putting out.

Hoping the lightning picks up but maybe there's not enough Cape perhaps?

Lightning from the MCV seems as if it is getting closer from the W. Definitely getting brighter and seeing more of it
