I wonder if the storms entering the UK in the SW and the storms currently over thw S will 'blow' up as the sun sets... great watching nevertheless!

There is a clump of CB's forming north of the channel islands.

Most of the fun doesnt start till 11ish.

Jess is 5. I dragged her in the garden :-D We tidiedi the toys in the garden together in the rain lol. RAin getting lighter here now so its beginning to go off to Basingstoke etc.

I put a few links up to Coverack area earlier today and discussed how it just never stopped torrential rain

but this looks awful for the folks living there...

Sky slowly getting darker. Also just had my pre-storm headache that I sometimes get come on...

 

All eyes on that rain pushing up through Kent, but is only rain at this moment in time

new cells seem to be forming on the southeast edge of the MCS. It'll be dark within the next hour so fingers crossed!

I get that, too. Not sure it's just confirmation bias relating to unreasonable excitement about seeing a giant spark fall out of the sky, though.
