Interesting to note that the July ave for 71 to 00, 81-10, 01-16 and 81-16 only vary by 0.2c

So that means the peak summer month has hardly changed in regards to the monthly average.

This must be the only month in regards to this feature.

El Nino is gonna screw us over December 2015 style from now on after El Nino has finally comeback without a proper La Nina...  22C  :(  Last sub 14C July in 1922.  Last sub 15C July in 1988.  Last sub 15.5C July in 2011.

Last I read  on here it was going to remain ENSO neutral so no El Nino this winter.

El Nino doesn't have really any affect on our Summertimes only in Winter.  And its not always wash out, El Ninos can bring severe heatwaves. If we can get in a locked Easterly pattern in Late July we could be going 2003 style!

16.3 I reckon. Nothing spectacular temps wise and the long run of well above average has to stop at some point..

Will it nope - still swearing,

Scotland is a beautiful place but it doesn't really have summer as such - just autumns. Springs are often nice but summers? No

I see every reason why it should, but then I'm seldom right...you only have to ask Mrs C!
