Heading into the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandle today for some possible Supercell magic!

Had a brilliant day - stopped for lunch at a diner Syracuse, Kansas   good food  nice people.

Saw two supercells one small LP and one huge LP which ate up Amarillo.

The second tried to drop a tornado but just couldn't.

As desperate as the team might be for a "T" that seems a long drive given the amount of time left on the tour..(Even for Paul).....

Heading North may be the only option for the next five days. It's an early shift in the pattern but it's been a strange season.

Yup, it's strange looking at the SPC data to see the season is above the 75th percentile, but of course with a lot more people in the field more reports will be corroborated. Even though it has been relatively quiet the number are there.

Of course the Northern route may add a little something as the team wind up tour 3 and move northwards for Tour 4.
