Meanwhile in C.S. England it is unbelievably still. Horribly sticky and still hot. Never mind a storm,I'll settle for a bit of rain

Even the same down here on the coast. Gone really still and humid.

Notice on the radar there's a lot of rain but not a lot of lightning being picked up

WOW, That was so loud! I missed the flash on camera but wow that thunder was amazing, I had a feeling we would get strikes out of no where aha

Looks like the Bishop Auckland area is in line for a torrential shower

A lightning strike on real time lightning shows one right by my house as well, very close indeed

Same out here. If the storm that passed through 'W Essex earlier had been a few miles further South East I'd have taken a direct hit but alas another sleepless night lies ahead

Viewing out of our window, I can see the cloud tops lighting up now and again from the Newark storm

I'm watching it from my room here in Skellingthorpe atm, it's not huge atm but if that lot from Newark arrives then it sure will be
