That would be the cell currently passing over Corby, NE of Kettering, which has intensified quite rapidly during the past half-hour.

Actually give amw the hump when I've just looked at the live lightening radar and i see all that potential dumped in the sea, no good to anyone there...and as is usual france gets most of the decent fun weather.

Just got back in from nr Skintthorpe,humberside lol and what a storm i whitnessed earlier,i have some pics and vids to trawl through so will be tomorrow when i have the time,also big developments to my SE and looks like Lincolnshire will kop it this evening

Finally out of the 'no storm 2017' club, CG lightning and heavy rain for the last 20 mins or so. Mrs was videoing on her phone so hopefully might have a couple of lightning shots.

that cell looks beautiful.from here in rugby and some lovely warm gusts aswell which im guess is inflow to it.

Which direction was the wind going over there? We still have a backed sultry SE flow here. This is well known to be associated with severe stuff!
