Time to get in my chosen position and wait!!!!

Heading mid way up the A34, Tothill services to use / steal Mcdonalds electricity.

Like the look of any tail end charlies that can form in this area with a fair bit of wind shear and bucket loads of CAPE as the move East

Woooo-Hoooo :)

Good luck Dave, I think the storms will develop around Bristol and be active over in the east.

Just seen Dan's storm forecast update....just as he removed the MDT from the SE corner, that cell goes up! Can't odds it really...law of sod reigns supreme

Now is the time to pray the unexpected happens (thinking along the lines of 17th july 2017 when we got battered by a storm that was not forecast)

Yep!

Though coverage doesn't really warrant a MDT - for now...!

Sky's starting to get darker and some large blobs of rain now and then so fingers crossed.

Maidstone cell can clearly see it from here in Leigh On Sea over the estuary. Looks to be quite elevated so might get a few strikes off it

so since wind convergeance zone is now expected to be the primary trigger anyone have an idea where this is most likely to be

i think that where i am will just be on the developing stage of The Thunderstorms before they move over towards the east of england before turning severe.i expected 2pm onwards from the west east wales i would guess.will put a live web stream om by then.

Think we are in the breeding ground areas. Places east of us I suspect might do very well.

Very warm and humid here now, and in the past ten minutes or so, this little beauty has appeared out of nowhere to my west and is rising. :bomb::good:

There will be some cloud, some sun, some rain, maybe some snow, probably not all in that order though.
