Ooops morning forecast wrong already. Thunderstorms across the south east right now. Actually zippo and the same said for wales. I can see drizzle. Classic case of not having up to date information.

Well the storms did turn for the south so perhaps I misheard the forecast but I'm sure Carol K said storms in the south east now at 06:15 which wasn't case.

Are those awesome photos above of the same storm that formed over Yorkshire yesterday? If so, WOW!

Has anyone got any links to live webcams of those storms over the near continent, looked but couldn't find any?

Yep. Exactly the same one, would you believe it! And it's still going on into the Czech Republic!! Incredible.

Hamburg is heading for round two, all off that suffering in 34c temperatures only for the storms to explode over the continent. Give us a break mother nature, why are we being punished?

Not a sausage here in Dudley...barely had any rain, just some slight drizzle earlier. Gutted!

Storms managed to avoid my neck of the woods this time, but at least the excessive heat has gone.  I love summer weather but this week was too much for me.

My 12 year wait for a proper decent thunderstorm goes on lol  (Im talking one with at least 4 flashes a minute within 5 miles of me)

And this!!! :bomb:

As much as I'd love to see a supercell or MCS here, that hail would destroy my allotment utterly! Stunning pics of the storms over Germany, still can't believe that storm that spawned as it left the UK turned into a monster over the cold North Sea and is still going strong in C Europe. Why did that happen? Can't compare the North Sea to the Channel (which is much warmer anyway).

Wow those photos, that could have been over the UK easily today or yesterday such was the energy available.  Not sure London could cope with that the PM might have had to find 50000 new £1mil flats in London cause she would be blamed for it lol
