Very windy here, and foggy. Feels cool out for a change, but still very humid. Good luck for anyone who catches todays storms.

Keep the storms brewing up over the UK and send them Germany's way. How strange to be in Germany and watching for imports from the UK rather than the other way around. I do hope the North Sea doesn't kill them.

I wonder if it stays so isolated or if the line will start to fill in.

Thunder reported from a work colleague in Buckingham, that tallies with the radar.

A cell literally just appeared out of the blue here in Milton Keynes. Saw the huge anvil in the distance and pretty much 15 minutes it was directly overhead, with a massive flash and boom of thunder upon arrival. The low level Cumulus gave it a stealthy approach. Another little rumble from the distance just now too.

Looks like the NE track is too far north for me unless something develops further south

If you hold on for a few hours you'll probably get that N Sea monster :D

I am quite disappointed at the scale of these cells, with all the Potential and CAPE, along with other factors, they seem to be very weak and look as if they could fall apart in the click of a finger. in the next few hours surface heating could develop some more intense rainfall and storms. Precipitation is now forming further south, so anyone from Bournemouth, NE toward Clacton and Norwich will have to wait for these storms to develop but i can see some development on the radar so fingers crosses !!!

Not much happening from the shower over Aylesbury at the moment, a very very distant rumble that's about all. A few drops of rain despite the radar looking promising. It's a waiting game lol

The radar is looking quite promising, the cells are beginning to link with precipitation and looks as if they will be some luck in the next hour or so for me in ESSEX.

Look at the salisbury area. Another cell developing there now. These showers are developing very rapidly and moving through quickly. The atmosphere does feel 'charged' (sorry, not very scientific). Don't know if we'll get any organisation later but I don't think we're finished yet

The cell in the Salisbury area took under 10/15 minutes to appear and its already producing sferics. Im getting excited now !!!

I really think we are going to have a very active day today, and Im wishing for a nice storm with a bit of thunder and that is  enough to make me happy, but of course id love 10 super cells to develop, but ill try and not be to optimistic.
