Already had one storm that went through surbiton and it seems the line of storms is building back and another seems to be approaching from a different direction . Back in chessington now . Constant rumbling for the past 30 mins strikes within 5 miles .

Haven't heard anything for a little bit, although that South London cell might give me a rumble or two later

even though surrounded by heavy returns - not hearing any thunder any more

the cells all seem to have lost their "edge"

Nice little storm in south-east London right now, looks like some pretty heavy rain coming down with currently a rate of 9 strikes a minute.

The capital seems to have been a good place to be today, surprised there was no flood reports from how heavy some of that rain seemed.. guessing it moved through so quickly it didn't drop too much?

The skies over your way look really dark from here, and I think we are hearing the odd rumble too. As you say, we got the downpour and a few rumbles (I think!) passing through earlier, so hoping the storms are building back in the way you mentioned.

Few more stunning CGs but the thunder is very strange - crack then dead silent.

Nothing in Norfolk bar some moderate rain. Normal for Norfolk.....

Anyone nr Diss/ Dickleburgh? Something seems to have popped up there but as yet the Australian Sheperd warning system is silent...

Woh, massive flash and really loud thunder out of no where. Local cell seems to have developed. More lightning now.

I'm about 12 miles south of Diss, have seen a few flashes in that directions and my strike alert has picked up a couple too.
