No chance of storms here but definitely a lot of convection which is refreshing to see

Quite an active little beast that one, and a rapid mover, although as usual it passes just a few miles to the west of me going from south west to north east. :wallbash:

windblade you missed the one that went right inthe middle of those two arrows went straight over Chelmsford

but developed quickly from not a lot

you need another arrow on the plane of your place - just starting after your place ....

I wonder if the cell that powered up over Guildford will hit you? Looks like it is heading marginally too north-west to reach us here. EDIT: It's just started raining here; hardly the biblical variety though:(

Sorry flash, I don't remember June 8th 2015. I don't think I knew about the uk storm forums or uk storm radars back then (I never used to know there was a whole community of uk storm chasers, thinking it was a usa only thing) so would have only known about storms that I actually saw with my own eyes. I may have had a storm that day, but I can't remember anything date specific or where I was on that day (probably at work).

There's a huge cell rapidly building to the E-SE of here. Looks like a proper thunderstorm! Very warm and almost stifling here in the sunshine.

Agreed @stainesbloke some big ol' towers rocketing up now.

Very dark off to my W/NW - cell just started firing over London.

Some towers and darkening skies to my South too @Windblade
