We are also in KS next two days before heading south for flight home. I'm hoping the boundary will fire elevated structure in 55-60dps (scoured a bit by last night's showers). We will start in Strong City/Emporia KS.

Straw clutching, but we are under what I believe to be a weak CVZ running through EC KS at Lyndon, KS. Cu field developing. Surface flow SW, T 81F, Td 55C.

Will watch this for a bit as HRRR still have a few storms firing here next hour.

Was watching the news in the hotel room and they have given a tornado warning for tomorrow, can't remember exactly where, am a bit frazzled at the moment with my early 3am starts.... just typical as it's changeover day!

Checked spc and there isn't a warning on there however or wasn't when I looked.

Ok we have arrived at the motel in Irving its about 33c ish and slightly muggy. Got my uk gear and flight socks off cool shower and shorts on. slim chance of thunder over night but don't hold your breath, Tomorrows potential is too far north to bother people on change over day . However as it stands we are in a good position for the day after 1st  June.

Watch this space

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
