Started the day in Woodward with a general chase target of NW to Northern Oklahoma and maybe SW & S Central Kansas.

After sitting around Woodward we punched through some cores to an isolated Supercell near Chester and punched east through the top of the storm which already had a large wedge to our south, after stopping and looking back the structure was jaw dropping on this spinning LP Supercell. A wedge was ongoing so we went back to Boise Junction and watched a small tornado skip across the road in front of us and then watched the main Wedge Touch down again. Some of the guys have some great pictures and video to share with you on this. Followed the storm through Waynoka and Alva before leaving the storm when it went HP. We then dropped down to the 2 Dryline Storms moving east and were treated to incredible Supercell structure before sunset.

Ended the day in Enid and had a nice 5Guys mean and celebrated 2 more Oklahoma Tornadoes that did not impact anyone today.

8 for the trip with 1 day left

Here is a screen grab of the  of the Chester Tornado we chased today. No video yet as needs editing so it's 'Child Friendly'! lol. You can see the debris being whipped up at the base of the tornado. It was an amazing high octane chase.

Others have far, far better pictures and footage than me - and most of mine are trapped on cameras until I get home, but here are a couple.IMG_8315.thumb.JPG.f0f043a991851f5d508ca140ca6c3f02.JPG

really terrible photo through car window of tornado by Waynoka kicking up debris (I was on wrong side of car for most of today!)

gopro image of nice storm drifting by at the end of the day. And jon's camera also in the shot (I bet his photos are well nice. Better than this.)

Towards the end of the day we pulled up at a couple of places to make the most of the stunning structure and amazing cloudscapes. These pics were taken just west of Enid, Oklahoma. This video was taken by Adam Simpkins. Not a bad first tour at all!

Another day and another fantastic chase with everyone on Tour 1. Bagged our 7th and 8th tornadoes of the tour South of Waynoka, and ended in Enid, OK with the promise of possible elevated storms by 5am. Also a big one for me, my first EVER daytime still lightning shot. Some shots attached below:-

Here's a timelapse from my dashcam! Check out the anticyclonic movement from about 10 seconds on!
