Taking 12 of the lucky 15 out to have a little bonus chase today, expecting some Supercell structures along a dryline to be the main action, but if the low level jet can get going early enough in the evening then an outside chance of a brief dust swirl. Its going to be nice to actually get out of the Dallas Metroplex area finally.

Regards

Paul

Hi guys,

Some photos from yesterday. Had a wall cloud at one point that was spinning really nicely, but no tornado this time! Observed some hail to 1.5inch and some nice donks in the car! Also amazing amounts of hail fog as the storm rolled off. Ended with a cracking lightning display just West of Plainview, TX.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
