Netweather Extra - fog, mist and dew point question

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

without signing up, I was wondering if the Netweather Extra subscription has detail/forecasts for mist, fog and dew points etc. Locally and nationally?

And what kind of forcast info might it have for cloud cover?

cheers all, appreciate any help!

Hi Matt, there are various forecasts in NW Extra, with pretty much every weather parameter you can think of covered in one or more of them. The only thing which isn't in there in too much detail is mist/fog currently, we're actually looking at options in terms of algorithms for showing this at the moment. There is a mist/fog model available in there, but that's more for coastal fog etc rather than radiation fog.

In terms of cloud cover, we have forecasts which cover high/low/medium level cloud + the forecasting models themselves have charts for cloud cover also.

Hope this helps a little, please let me know if you want any more info.

Paul
