The is no northward correction on the 6z just a slightly different angle in the sliding low.

I just hope the models are going to upgrade us!  good ol GooFuS has a light snow shield over my neck of the woods but it does shift dependant on the runs.  06z seems to be the ball ache and will be watching with glee when the 12z shows its beautiful face!

could be a bazzin day!!

It is frustrating to see conflicting info from meteorologists. One says no updates to the warnings, the other says southward correction.

As ever I am more worried that there will be some marginality for my area tomorrow over in Liverpool, will the northwest see a lot of precipitation? It most definitely will.

Probably about 3cm has accumulated outside with the recent snow showers, but tomorrow looks disappointing - Met Office only going for light snow around here. This time yesterday there was heavy snow symbols lasting for loads of hours.

Someone from Oldham council just been on BBC news 24 saying they're expecting 20cm, obviously they haven't been updated of the southwards corrections then!

Or they know something we dont

How about enjoying what's falling from the sky now rather than worrying about tomorrow?

I haven't seen snow this heavy for years.

Yes - Game over.

Not being funny mate but our company have put an alert out today for this area for the first time in donkeys years and they are expecting to be brought to a stand still. Whoever they are getting their premium info from has been correct so far.

If it's a correction south it isn't much and there is still a possibillty of another correction north. We shall see.

I just seen someone say that from Oldham council, looked like someone in charge of gritting but I'm sorry, they were originally right to be concerned, better to be safe than sorry but the threat of 20cm has gone for this area now, they are still using old data.
