Hail and snow mixed has turned everything white here,looking at the radar the showers 

Showers now turning more to sleet now.

yes craig anything from now on will be snow for you- just getting a bit concerned about the wind direction, it was supposed to be WNW - it isn't and probably explains why its mainly dry..

watching the irish sea and hoping..

Yeah we seem to be stuck between minor streamers coming off the North Sea and the main band of ppn but it does look like we will eventually get blasted overnight at some point. Fingers crossed pal

Well atleast the whole region is in the sweet spot for sunday going by the latest GFS

Nothing but stars in the sky here and I've had to get my snow fix by watching a programme about Chenobyl instead.

plenty of activity further north in Lancashire but whether it will come far enough south to give me anything I'm not convinced.

no doubt I'll know more when I open the front door in the morning though.
