I assumed he was on the coast. Inland it would depend really. To be fair it depends on the setup too I suppose. A breakdown setup can feature snow at -2C 850s if enough evaporative cooling is available

Just had a wintry shower again couple of minutes ago and it seems the wet snow getting bit more 'dryer' as the colder air mass is closing in.

Yeah.. just finished work and was suprised when i came out, didnt feel that cold to me really.

Wondering if its going to be a fail now, just cold rain here @200m.

Good evening everybody. Great to be back for another season of snow watching and the like. Also nice to be back so early in the season too!!!! Currently wet snow here in Rochdale

Glad your well, although snow at 150m and RAIN at 200m makes me feel kinda sad. :(

Snowflakes but light... nothing moderate/ heavy 1c.... damp underfoot and dripping out... if anything heavy came for prolonged period it’d be snow and laying...

130asl East of Stockport, just rain at the moment but the 522dam line isn't here till 10pm I believe?
