It's too close now to see a shift so significant, gonna be good at least for the south of the region, the north could still get a slice but it won't track out of the northwest.

Not liking the gfs tonight, on phone so not checked many charts but it has shifted south on this run. Not much wriggle room on the amber warning either, typical!

Aprege has shifted south too. Similar with the gfs now.

With all these shifts south coupled with the nasty rain shadow I might only end up with bits of dandruff blowing in the wind on Sunday, at least tomorrow afternoon looks interesting.

Sunday’s PPN seems to be a little further South on the 18z. Experience with these set ups historically means it’ll stall and won’t reach Lancashire !

Please don’t say that !!!

Many are focusing on Sunday, but we have Saturday still to come, and I think there are higher chances of most of the region seeing a decent snow shower or two tomorrow as winds turn more westerly, afternoon/early evening looks prime time.

Here, we might see a few showers through the evening as will, so even if we don't see any snow on Sunday we may have a nice slight cover lingering through the day to give a snowy scene.

It is a good sign for tomorrow as the precipitation charts show the showers increase during the morning.

Looking grim for the Sunday event N of Cheshire now IMO. It could track even further S still and take the whole of the NW out of the frame. I pray to God we see a shift further N in the morning.
