This is interesting. One hour ago from Met Office. Looks like they’ve dragged the amber further north again???

Nope, it's not been shifted north unfortunately. I've just been on their website.

I’m still inside the amber warning either way, I’d like it to shift north tho.

It’s probably been raining here but haven’t been bothered looking as temp and dp are not conducive anyway. I’ll be so happy when we lose this on-shore wind later. Temp will probably fall off a cliff.
Not reading any of the negative posts about tomorrow, it was the same with the last event like this. This model shows this, this model shows this and in the end it did what it wanted.

Been snowing here on and off for the last hour or so but to put it into context, if it was rain, the cricketers would still be on the pitch.

edit, finally something a bit heavier.

The heavy snow here a while back has stopped and started to settle but the showers aren't long and strong enough to build a base and its gradually turning the ground wet before the next one - making it harder for the next shower to make anything white.

Hopefully tomorrow is a bit more organised and persistent and we'll see something, but I'm really disappointed in what was showing pretty much constantly for over a week and gradually ebbed away into a cold, overcast and damp day. :nonono:

hope gradually fading for me-its becoming wet here now- only hope is showers later after 2pm but somethings got to happen rapidly in the irish sea- and it doesn't look like doing.
