Nothing but stars in the sky here and I've had to get my snow fix by watching a programme about Chenobyl instead.

plenty of activity further north in Lancashire but whether it will come far enough south to give me anything I'm not convinced.

no doubt I'll know more when I open the front door in the morning though.

I've been and my Chernobyl didn't drop off

There is a south eastwards shift of that huge line of showers from Northern Ireland-Isle of Man into Lancaster.... and showers popping up in between so hopefully something wintery will fall in the next few hours here.

Hello up there next to the church on the hill, can you see me in Hadfield.

hopefully not for long if we get the PPN we need pal, could do with it going white out, had a little smattering last weekend but more chance of it staying - sledging on Glossop golf course methinks - flippin eased off again now

The slider on Sunday is a tad further north.

Yep, GFS 50-100 miles N of UKMO and ECM track. Just about shown to stay as snow here throughout but it's a close run thing. ECM track perfect for here, maybe just a smidgen N would do. GFS looks to be at the N point of the spread on track.

The trough heading slowly South will drop its load on us around midnight to 1am. Believe.

Looks like a real pasting for Sunday then. I wont be driving anywhere, even the trains could be snowbound.

As it stands, somewhere in the Peak District or N Wales hills could be looking at about a foot of snow.

Looks like a bit of a Streamer has set up from Northern Ireland stretching all the way to Lancashire.

Only problem is its a rainy / sleety mix as well s snow, should be snow when it gets here but might well be rain for people at sea level further west.

Just been out and its gone really cold here!!

The upper must have cooled off quite a lot over the last few hours- give it another hour or two and it wont be far off freezing round here...

Precipitation is turning increasingly to sleet & snow I’d say by midnight all PPN will be white for this region.
