Nothing at all here yet...not expecting much anyway..sunday will also be a calamity, I fear It will miss the whole region as it tracks south and west.

Left my beers outside eagerly expecting to have to dig them out anytime now. Safe to say they're now chilling in the fridge. Gawd

Yes, I cant see it going further north now, at the moment we are still in with a shout of a few inches but too much time left for Southward corrections, if Fergie is mentioning North Gloucester in wuith a shout then that's bad for us because you wont get a dumping near the M62 and M4, it will be either one or the other, but probably Birmingham.

Got to laugh at the snow showers heading over the hills into Yorkshire. .. the very same hills that block snow coming to our part of the world.

You know somethings amiss when Halkyn in NE Wales gets rain off a torrential shower.

hmmm

Like so many times over recent winters, we seem to be in a no mans land here.

reminds me of a well known Stealers Wheel song

"showers to the north of me, showers to the south.

here I am, stuck in the middle with nowt"

anyway early start tomorrow so with nothing happening, that's it for me tonight.

graupel/ hail mix in Mottram - feels well cold when getting the cat in - who wasnt enjoying the wintryness - more confident now that conditions are better and am hopeful we should see some settling snow here.  Yay !
