ecm looks interesting Sun into Mon :)

I think those lows would need to be 100 miles north to be good for us.

It is very similar to the UKMO, maybe a few miles north.

Well, forecast were that it would possibly snow from around 1am onwards in the northwest, its currently 6pm and were not drowning in snow so we're all a little bit depressed. Plus a half ass chart like the euro 4 says no to snow so it's time to go cry into a bucket of ice cream to feel like we belong.

To be honest I’m confused. The positioning of the lows on both MetO and ECM look perfect for us don’t they? The lows look like positioning themselves slap bang on top of us, with very light winds which should limit the snow shadow effect? Am I wrong?

The way some react in here, you either need to grow up or get a new hobby. To get in depressive mode over something you can't control.....:fool:

Indeed. Relax, have a beer, and enjoy the ride.

The worst that could happen is it doesn’t snow. :-)

Were human beings in here. Computers have got it wrong in the past.

meant to be a laugh and who wants to grow up not me I will always be a kid a heart

We are to the north of those lows, so we are on the cold side but the heavy precipitation would be in Wales and the midlands.

I can tell you who wont be getting any snow on sunday, the midlands. < things you shouldn't say in the mod thread currently.

haha! People in the Mod thread are celebrating. There is a very southern (and Mids) bias there.

ECM shows heaviest precipitation mid/North Wales across into mid and North Midlands with locations up to and including Manchester getting a fair fall of snow.

I've know that for years, at this rate though it will just keep correcting south until they wake up on sunday and cornwall gets rain.
