As others have said, dont worry about the apps, Im not saying it will or wont snow, just that the apps arent a good guide.   Unless things have changed recently, the apps have no human input and are only taking into account a handful of the many variables.   There are tons of knowledgeable posters on here with a wealth of experience in deciphering the various charts and models and  lifetimes worth of local knowledge, listen to them, not an app.

2 questions guys for you more experienced weather predictors.

Will Liverpool see snow.

Also, I'm off to Bristol Saturday a.m. coming home Sunday pm to Merseyside. Will the predicted snow event be right in my driving path?

Enjoy any white stuff guys here's hoping.

Yeah probably have to get a taxi tomorrow- not sure if top of rippy road will be passable - i can well imagine drifts up there by the morning- esp given the wind.

Told my son i will take him - hes only 15 but has inherited my obsession with snow lol

Either way we will get up there -

You should try the Junction at Denshaw, refurbed this year and very nice meals.

The Waggon at Milnrow is excellent too

I might just do that thanks Ramp-

TBH in winter the 3 i mentioned are all really high up and have really good food-

But for the last 3 years even the altitude these pubs have 330m- hasn't even been enough- i have seen drifts of 10 feet up there many moons ago- be lucky to see 3mm drifts last few years,..

Your right there, I have lived in moorside for the past 9 years and the last 3 to 5 years have been pants. 2010 is the last time I recall the roads been shut up there

What’s the betting that these showers fall as hail less than 20 miles inland? Odds on I think.
