Probably another 2 days before the track is accurately forecast. But the fun & games begin for the region from PM tomorrow in the form of some beefy showers :cold::cold-emoji:

Met check is a poor site these days.

Got me down for 87mm of ppn Thursday night till Friday morning...

Anyone got a snowplough I can borrow

I started my Internet weather hobby doing reports on there before I joined NW. I bet a few of us were on their back in the old days.

In the long run, forgetting Sunday, does it bode better for northward corrections or is it irrelevant for keeping the cold?

Met check went down hill when it's owner was accused of some horrendous crimes, not shure what happened after ,new owners now though

Haha.

It's pretty rare to have a couple of days of snow showers from the west followed by the chance of significant snow for all. Think we are all pretty excited! Dusting that sledge off not for the kids, for me :D

Upgrades on the automated MetO forecast with snow now forecast on Sunday and Monday, some of it falling at sub zero temps. (South Manchester)

Frontal snow is different dear ??

Positive signs but yes it is too still early. Also if the wind is strong and from the east/SE we can forget it anyway - snow shadow ! ;)
