Must say, there has been precious little activity in the Irish sea this evening- its really cold here- but alas, nearly time to call it a day- good luck all, i suspect Will might get a dusting, hopefully better luck next time ..

Went out 20 minutes ago and frost on car. went out again and just had rain shower and frost all gone.

Not enough CAPE yet this evening. 3-8 am is my bet for when the showers will be at their best.

Wow! Just had an extremely powerful sell pass overhead with some of the largest hail i’ve ever seen and a few  flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder. There’s a beautiful feeling of potential in the air. Feels like there may be more to come.

Nice covering of snow after some heavy snow showers in Shaw Oldham. Should better on the tops where I live.

Got a covering of the white stuff here on most surfaces.  Looks very wet looking so should be easy to clear off the car when I travel to work in a wee bit.  Another batch of wintry showers could be dropping from the north west soon too.

Great big fluffy flakes falling and the ground is white as I type.
