Unsure why you do not, do you look at the models?...perfectly fits in.

Irish Sea coming alive tonight! Expect wintry precipitation to low levels, cold rain on the coast probable.

Because the uppers are not conclusive to low level snow.I am a very embarrassing 19m

ASL and need uppers of around -8.Dont get me wrong I love snow and cold, but I am

Not going to Ramp up the possibilities for the sake of it.Fingers cannot take any more

Burning.

Sorry but you’re wrong you do not need that depth of cold air for snow. Last winter there was a cold westerly flow with uppers around ~ -5C many had snow albeit nothing overly impressive of course.

Absolute nonsense.

I know the setup and my location thank you, Frontal/ especially with cold air in place, or convective easterly then -2 could produce

Not necessarily... The winds off the sea can bring unwanted moisture raising the dewpoints even at -10C 850s

Then frankly you’re lying..I don’t need to be at your location to know.

Learn the following:

1) you’re not low level

2) you’re not from the south

Plenty of other stuff too but I don’t have the time...

It seems to me the wet snow tends to be with the heavier bursts here. Its raining now.

I think it' best to agree to disagree,as I said earlier I am virtually at sea level,so it does

Take something special to deliver to My back yard, however if I see any snow I will be

The first to hold my hands up and say I was wrong.

Yes, our best setup is continental air in place, then fronts approaching from the S/ SW or west, making slow progress east and stalling, -2 uppers can be enough
