I actually am in Gran Canaria this week instead of dull, wet and windy Manchester and can report that it was a pleasant 26c with blue skies today :)

Can't wait, just a shame I'm back on Christmas Eve.

Punta arenas  trekking in the south ,then drive 2500 miles of pan American to Santiago then onto the Atacama desert volcano chasing  .

Hmmm, pretty sure I could manage that myself.

can't see my missus being overly excited by the thought though although she has managed the Grand Canyon so anything's possible.

anyway it took me a few seconds to get my head around your cat stuck in the culvert post before I realised that it wasn't the worlds biggest moggy that needed three tractors.

Whereas the met app gives me light snow Saturday am and I'm much lower than Moorside.

Would have thought the rain might have warranted an Amber warning from Met. O? Not in Portinscale today but family say it’s pretty horrendous day and not improving yet...

I thought a train was coming through the window before but it was the outflow boundary of a squall. Watching the pressure to see if that was a cold front.

Been bad here , assisted with bogged down cat stuck in culvert  from my old company, took  three tractors to remove  it from its situation, I was caked head to foot, and still hammering it down .

Had to re read that to get the gist, I thought "Christ, 3 tractors, that's some moggy!" It's been a long day!

50mph gusts here the past few hours, a few tree's down locally but not much traffic on the roads with the rain and gales that were forecast. Got interrupted a few times as I was playing GTAV with headphones on and occasionally there'd be the stronger gusts hitting the window and making a racket.

Feels colder today. I woke up early in the morning by hailstones and I went to sleep again.
