Looks like I'm going to have to judge the timing of my dash to Thirsty Thursday at the brewery later.

The showers are getting organised to the west now.

Thought we were going to get more rain last night but that line of showers including the odd rumble of thunder stayed out in the channel.

Dry today and feeling warm when the sun comes out. 21.3°C.

Two wonderful days in a row with single figure minima followed by 20c plus maxima, both days having long sunny periods and fair weather cumulus. Frontal cloud has gradually encroached from the West this evening.

By george it's warm out there this morning, 17.1°C and a Humidex of 21.4°C, it feels like an India summer :)

Low hanging mist over the centre of the town blocks the view of the channel this morning.

Yesterday's rainfall even left us with 23.7mm of rain, with some torrential rainfall around 22:00 last night.

The BBC forecast is wrong again this morning. Even the nowcast says it's supposed to be overcast, but dry and then brightening up. However, it's been pouring with rain.
