Definitely over-estimating the totals, but I feel quietly optimistic about Monday. I love the uncertainty... we never do well when it's 'nailed on'.

Been snowing at Bristol Airport too apparently.

Temps still too high for anything to settle at the moment. Some cold spell.

It settled here and it's crispy under foot. When I left Bath at about 7 it was snowing quite well, got to the park & ride at Odd Down and all the cars had a covering of icing sugar.

Still struggling to see real cold air as we are above the ZERO mark by 2C. DP is JUST hovering below, but it does show this is not COLD air yet, really still needs to dig in, for future hopes of good stuff, (sorry guys in the North of the region we are really southerners here).

So far, this is turning out to be a weaker cold snap than the one at the end of November, even that one was poor!

Chris Fawkes on twitter saying midlands south 20cm Monday, especially central southern parts. I’m really sceptical about it to be honest. So marginal
